The joys and privileges of dog ownership are not without their share of responsibilities.  

When you become a dog parent, you'll have cherished memories of cuddles, fun times playing, and love for each other. 

But, you'll also have a long-term obligation to provide your dog with the finest care possible, regardless of your own preferences.

Canine ownership is similar to marriage in that "for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health" might equally apply to it. 

Look over this checklist before you even consider looking at cute puppies (because who can say no to such adorable creatures?).
